Thursday's Morning Glory

Good Morning! How wonderful it is for me to share this ministry with you. Not only is the LORD keeping me in the Word everyday, He is keeping me accountable to you. He is molding me and refining me, and I get to share it with you. (in all its not-so-beautiful glory) He is constantly reminding me of my humanness and my dependence upon Him. Would I have chosen to share my "dark side" with the world before now? NO! I would have rather dealt with it quietly and tried to keep a squeaky clean image, but He had different plans for me. Plans to share my struggle with judgment and self-righteousness. Plans to shed light on pain that I wish would just go away. Plans to rid me of a need for acceptance from the world, to focus on my audience of One. To Him who is faithful in love and forgiveness, I thank you! Continue to strip me of the world, Father. Fill me with your Spirit and make me apart from this world.
"O LORD, the God who saves me,
day and night I cry out before you.
May my prayer come before you;
turn your ear to my cry."
Psalm 88:1-2
