As I think about all the recipes I want to make for Christmas, I can't help but think of Christmas' past with all the goodies that my Grandma would make. Christmas was especially wonderful at her house. She past many of them on to my mom who has since past some of them on to us, my sisters and I, to carry on the tradition. I want to honor her this year as I make some of my favorite of her recipes. I miss her laugh and her wit. I love you Grandma!

I have been listening to all my German Christmas music and fondly remembering our holidays together. I will be doing the same by baking some of her recipes and wishing they were as good as hers.
