Thursday's Morning Glory

Good morning to you this beautiful day! It is so nice to see the sunshine for more than 5 minutes at a time. I guess its the So. Cal. kid in me! Yesterday I was sitting in the glorious sunshine, taking in God's handiwork and thinking ahead to Spring. I found such hope and peace just thinking about the time I will spend outside. I love to fill my flower boxes and pots with new life and beauty and then just sit and enjoy them. The hope that is found in those moments makes my heart sing with joy and praises for my Creator. He gives us hope in even the tiniest of things, and sometimes its those things that help get us through!
"My heart is steadfast, O God;
I will sing and make music with all my soul.
Awake, harp and lyre!
I will awaken the dawn.
I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples.
For great is your love, higher than the heavens,
and let your glory be over all the earth.
Save us and help us with your right hand,
that those you love may be delivered."
Psalm 108:1-6
